Dear Juno (or any other teenager stuck in the same situation),
I am 2 years older than you when you found out you were pregnant. I could never imagine how or what you must of felt when you found out you were pregnant. I think you are brave for the choice you made, because I know for sure that if I was in that situation, I would have no clue what to do. I wouldn't have looked down upon you for getting pregnant, but I mean how didn't you know that you would get pregnant!? Like, you didn't have protection, or anything. Did you think you would be okay without it? I mean, didn't they teach you anything in school? Like how not to have sex just because you were bored and you had zero protection, I mean you could've gotten an STD!! You should've been a little more smart about what you were doing.
Anyways, I give you props and all my respect because from what I saw, you were the most mature person in this whole situation. I understand that you made a very difficult decision and you handled it very well, even though you had some tough times, you still handled it well. I think you made a great choice by holding the baby to term and giving it up for adoption. It must have been tough making that choice but I think in your situation, I personally think it was the best. I mean, how can you abort something that has finger nails!? Well, I'm not going to tell you to never get an abortion because they are horrible but you have your rights as a women to do whatever you want with your body.
Either way, you made a choice that will inevitably change your life. And honestly, I'm happy you made that choice because even though Paulie Bleeker has enough tic tacs until college, I don't think he was prepared to be a father. And even though Mark and Vanessa didn't work out, I believe you giving the baby to her was worth it. I think you did the best you could and you should know that Vanessa is going to take great care of that baby, and because you made a great decision because that baby is going to live a good life.
